September 4-7: Visit the museum during Frontier Days! Extended hours Saturday and Sunday.

Late September: Tour Maple Hill Cemetery and visit some of Charlotte’s prominent citizens of the past.

October 11: 25^th Anniversary of the 1845 Courthouse move to Bennett Park. Join our celebration!

October 27: Almost Midnight Madness 5-8 pm. Enjoy pre-Halloween festivities with the community. Trick-or-Treat in downtown Charlotte (sponsored by the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce) and visit the haunted basement at the 1885 Courthouse.

November: Annual Veteran’s Roundtable, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Hear veterans’ stories and honor their service. Admission is free.

November 24: After the Holiday Parade visit Santa at Christmas at the Courthouse, 6:15-7:30 pm. A program of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce

November 27-28: Museum closed for Thanksgiving.

December 6: CSA’s Annual fundraiser dinner, Christmas Cuisine. Dine under the rotunda to serenades from local musicians. Tickets available in November.

December 24-25: Museum closed for Christmas.
